The look of the peer review page is temporarily different. We are reorganizing our web pages and the peer review will live here for a while.
This is a preliminary data release. It is being released to reviewers only at this time. You have the right to review and question the data. The review period is limited to 21 days. Please do not quote, copy or distribute this data until you receive notification that the data has been approved. All data submitters will be notified before their data is officially released.
Question about this data should be sent to IGDB@lbl.gov
From the release of WINDOW 5 we use an Access® database instead of the text files that were used by Window4. Starting April 1, 2003 we will cease to publish the text files database and will only support the Access database for Window5 and Optics5.
For the same reasons, the peer review group will no longer receive a set of text files to review, instead, it will receive an Access database that can be used with Optics5 to review the data. This database should not be opened directly. It should only be inspected by using Optics5. Please refer to instructions to open the peer review database.
Although some files in the peer review database may have the # sign (indicating that NFRC-acceptance has been requested for these products), the peer review database is not protected yet. This means that this data, when imported in Window5, will automatically lose the # sign and cannot be used to perform official simulations. Only when the data has passed peer review, it will be added to the IGDB and the # sign will be protected.
The steps that you should take are the following:
You are now able to view the spectral data in the peer review database. After you have finished reviewing the data, you should apply the same steps above in Optics5 to return the settings to using your normal User Database.
